Summary / Role Purpose

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist II (university recruitment), you will be responsible for leading full life cycle recruitment activities for intern and new college grad hiring across India, as well as developing innovative and effective early career and DEI&B recruitment strategies. You will interface regularly with university departments, faculty, and students, as well as diversity focused professional societies and organizations. You can expect to be a face of Ansys while executing targeted events and outreach, locally and nationally. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading full life cycle recruitment activities for university and new college grad candidates which includes, but is not limited to conducting intake sessions with hiring managers, recommending and evaluating recruitment strategies for effectiveness, guiding hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires
  • Maintain meaningful relationships with universities, professional societies, and diversity-focused organizations
  • Support key diversity focused recruiting programs and projects
  • Engage emerging and diverse talent via networking and diversity outreach tools, university and professional society partnerships, and event strategies
  • Coordinate and execute on-campus, in person, and virtual activities
  • Ensure ROI of outreach investments
  • Execute lead nurturing campaigns to maintain consistent engagement with highly sought-after talent pools
  • Drive intern conversion by networking and working with hiring teams to identify previous interns for full time placement
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system to ensure hiring practices are within compliance standards
  • Design and implement strategies to attract candidates for niche, hard-to-fill positions

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant recruiting experience, however, an equivalent of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration
  • Prior experience with university recruitment
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be willing to travel for events (as appropriate and safety permitting)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience with ATS and/or HRIS to source, track and manage candidates is strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to develop relationships across multiple teams with all levels of employees
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Able to identify areas of improvement related to talent acquisition and develop strategies to address these areas
