Job Description and Requirements

The Signoff flow Specialist plays a critical role in the success of Synopsys’ customers as they design ASICs which push the limits of complexity, time to market and silicon technology. By enabling adoption of Synopsys’ Signoff products and leading-edge methodologies (“flows”), they brings tangible and lasting improvements in performance, cost, quality, and development time for these ASICs

The signoff experts work with customers to solve complex technical challenges in the area of  signoff, high frequency designs, deep sub-micron technology, low power, and signal integrity. I

They work on cutting edge designs in the wireless, consumer and processor space. Signoff experts will have the opportunity to work with various customers, giving them abundant exposure to different design styles, different application domains, and different complexity and process nodes. They partner with customers on training, problem resolution and methodology guidance.  They are expected to play an active role in account planning, where they work as part of the account team to develop solutions to customer problems by bringing their technical understanding of the customer needs and issues. She/he must be effective and proactive at interacting with customer’s technical staff and the first or second level management. An important aspect of this job will be to leverage your knowledge and experience of customers’ design processes to Synopsys product development teams for future product/solution improvements.BSEE/MSEE (or equivalent) required with 8-10 of design experience. Experience in synthesis, physical synthesis, timing, signal integrity issues, power, place and route and overall implementation skills are required.Knowledge of Design Compiler, IC Compiler, PrimeTime and other Synopsys implementation and signoff tools are important. Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills are required. Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities and have a helpful/caring attitude towards customers, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position
