Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager

Alphawave Semi is seeking for a Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager within its Silicon Operations organization who will partner with foundry engineering, package engineering, product engineering, test engineering, and design engineering teams to drive excellence into our manufacturing processes. As a Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager at Alphawave Semi, you will manage external manufacturing operations with foundry and outsourced assembly and test (OSAT) suppliers. Your primary goals are to manage the manufacturing of Alphawave Semi’s silicon products by meeting schedule, quality, and costs targets. This includes the execution of development and manufacturing operations with our suppliers and internal engineering and operations teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to develop manufacturing strategies with foundry and OSAT suppliers that aligns roadmap, technology capabilities, and supply availability.
  • Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to execute sourcing and selection of foundry and OSAT suppliers.
  • Gather supplier factory capacity and utilization information and develop a manufacturing plan and identify potential risks in manufacturing process.
  • Ensure all manufacturing collaterals are ready before releasing for manufacturing.
  • Work to resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance against schedule to ensure NPI and production schedules are met.
  • Manage product manufacturing experiments and continuous improvement.
  • Execute and meet manufacturing milestones from NPI to production with our foundry and OSAT suppliers through tool capability, lot tracking, quality management, change control, and business continuity plan (BCP).

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing semiconductor manufacturing capability, yield and cycle time improvement, scrap reduction, WIP excursion management, manufacturing cost optimization, capacity planning model, and other relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of foundry and OSAT suppliers and their roadmap.
  • 10+ years of experience driving manufacturing executions with foundry and OSAT suppliers.
  • Ability to collaborate with foundry and OSAT suppliers to improve systems and processes, and deliver product.
