SmartNIC QA Automation and System Engineer

Responsibilities

1.     Review arch design and requirements for new features introduced in the SoC software

2.     Design, develop, and execute tests for the new features, as part of SoC software GA releases or update releases

3.     Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D team, raise if not fixed

4.     Execute tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, security; report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity

5.     Define and build setups topologies for appropriate product coverage

6.     Build a catalog of operationally ready VNFs and Services to operational ready state using automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tool chain

7.     Develop next generation SoC platform IDE and its SDK maintenance

8.     Build up the QA division, and be responsible for writing solid documentation, procedures, use cases and functionality tests

Requirements

1.     BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer

2.     Basic knowledge of Networking and system experience

3.     Experience with software QA tools, software testing and test methodology (functional, integration, regression, or performance testing)

4.     Independent, responsible worker, able to plan and execute

5.     Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

6.     Over 2-proven experience in Software QA Engineer or IT Engineer

7.     Experience in Networking virtualization

8.     Experience in Networking test design and automation

9.     Proven programming experience in Perl, Python

10.   Experience working with SoC and its basic development

11.   Experience in various testing tools like iperf/netperf/Ixia, packet analyzers
