Silicon Validation Product Engineer (On-site)

Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and present lab data for use in Characterization Reports
- Provide feedback to improve test hardware used for characterization and validation.
- Apply theoretical knowledge to investigate and explain circuit behavior and circuit limitations in a testing and characterization environment.
- Provide support for test hardware to both internal and external customers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to data collection or publication flow.
Key Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Programming or scripting experience, preferably in C, Matlab and Python
- Hands-on lab/debug experience with validating of digital / analog blocks.
- Familiar with reading and troubleshooting board schematics and layouts.
- Experience automating report population and documentation review.
- Knowledge in code repositories (i.e. Git, SVN and Perforce) and running code review
- Experience in working cohesively with other teams (design, firmware, circuit, implementation, etc.)
- Experience in designing and supporting customer-deliverable products complete with code, Raspberry Pi, demo PCB evaluation board learning kit and user guide/documentation.
- Experience manipulating, analyzing, and presenting lab data for technical publication.
- Knowledge of interface protocols such as DDR, LPDDR, HBM or HBI
- Knowledge of Analog IC manufacturing and validation
- Knowledge of high-speed analog PCB design, including schematic and layout review
- Experience interpreting schematics, especially for silicon bring-up and diagnostic testing.
- Knowledge of JEDEC specifications
- Knowledge of jitter, timings, pulse-widths, ESD, HTOL/ELFR, Reliability Testing
- Experience with volume/mass data/statistical analysis and or related
- Knowledge of jitter, timings, pulse-widths, ESD, HTOL/ELFR, Reliability Testing
- Experience with volume/mass data/statistical analysis and or related programming/software (i.e. MATLAB, R, Tableau, QuickTable, etc.) is an asset
- Good English communication skills
