Silicon Validation Product Engineer (On-site)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and present lab data for use in Characterization Reports
• Provide feedback to improve test hardware used for characterization and validation.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to investigate and explain circuit behavior and circuit limitations in a testing and characterization environment.
• Provide support for test hardware to both internal and external customers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to data collection or publication flow.

Key Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably in C, Matlab and Python
• Hands-on lab/debug experience with validating of digital / analog blocks.
• Familiar with reading and troubleshooting board schematics and layouts.
• Experience automating report population and documentation review.
• Knowledge in code repositories (i.e. Git, SVN and Perforce) and running code review
• Experience in working cohesively with other teams (design, firmware, circuit, implementation, etc.)
• Experience in designing and supporting customer-deliverable products complete with code, Raspberry Pi, demo PCB evaluation board learning kit and user guide/documentation.
• Experience manipulating, analyzing, and presenting lab data for technical publication.
• Knowledge of interface protocols such as DDR, LPDDR, HBM or HBI
• Knowledge of Analog IC manufacturing and validation
• Knowledge of high-speed analog PCB design, including schematic and layout review
• Experience interpreting schematics, especially for silicon bring-up and diagnostic testing.
• Knowledge of JEDEC specifications
• Knowledge of jitter, timings, pulse-widths, ESD, HTOL/ELFR, Reliability Testing
• Experience with volume/mass data/statistical analysis and or related
• Knowledge of jitter, timings, pulse-widths, ESD, HTOL/ELFR, Reliability Testing
• Experience with volume/mass data/statistical analysis and or related programming/software (i.e. MATLAB, R, Tableau, QuickTable, etc.) is an asset
• Good English communication skills
