Website Agile Analog

  • Are you tired of working on the same old boring blocks in the same old way?
  • Looking for an opportunity to expand your own knowledge as well as bring that wealth of experience to actually getting something new out there?
  • Want to work alongside some of the industry’s’ best engineers?

Agile Analog is revolutionising the way Analog circuits are designed. Based in Cambridge but with the ability to work in both a hybrid and highly flexible way, we are growing quickly to become one of the world’s leading semiconductor IP companies. Using our innovative core technology, we are able to design circuits faster, to a higher quality, and on any silicon process.

We are disrupting methodologies that have been unchanged for generations and if you have that similar mindset with the desire to make an impact then play a part in our story

What you will be doing

  • Design, definition and implementation of analog blocks and circuits
  • Taking the Technical lead in Analog Block/Macro development, considering design, customer and business requirements to meet specification
  • Investigation and decisions for architectural needs and options in analog circuits
  • Layout of analog circuits, either through direct activities or support to layout engineers
  • Analog Cell/Macro/System Specification, Design, Layout and Physical Verification
  • Behavioural modelling for circuits and circuit architectures
  • Support silicon validation and debugging
  • Support and practice top-down design planning and implementation
  • A can do attitude, getting stuff done is key to this role
  • An openness and desire to work collaboratively with the wider engineering team is critical

What we need from you:

  • A systematic, hands-on approach to circuit design, previous roles of taking designs from concept to mass production is essential
  • Experience in both defining specifications and designing to specification
  • BS/MSEE in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in design of Data Converters, Clock Generation, Power Management and Analog Sensor Interfaces
  • Experience in behavioural circuit modelling
  • Innovative problem solving with the ability to be able to think way outside the box
  • Experience in all stages from Circuit and System Specification, into simulation, verification all the way to qualification
  • Programming experience: Python, linux, verilogA, verilogAMS, system verilog, C Matlab,

Even better if you have:

  • Macro-level experience: integration, verification and tape-out
  • Team-lead experience
  • Packaging knowledge (CSP, BGA, etc.)
  • CMOS RF circuit design experience
  • CMOS process & design flow (CAD/PDK) knowledge
  • Knowledge of Cadence design tools and environment and also Mentor Calibre verification suite

What we offer in return:

  • A friendly, supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Flexible work hours to fit around your personal commitments
  • Hybrid Working
  • Professional development and professional society membership
  • Company share options
  • 25 days’ annual leave with the option to purchase additional days
  • Company pension scheme (with a salary sacrifice option)
  • Private health insurance (including optical and dental cover)
  • Life Assurance
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme – free wellbeing and health services

If the above role matches your experience, skills and motivations then we would love to hear from you.
