Requirements

• 5+ years in Java software development
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven experience with designing large-scale complex features over distributed software architecture
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL advantage)
• Experienced with Docker/ Kubernetes and cloud vendors: AWS, GCP or Azure
• B.A. or B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

Advantages:

• Experience with python
• Experience with streaming or messaging services (RabbitMQ/ SQS/ Kafka)
• Strong understanding of Spring/ Spring boot framework
• Experience with JPA/ Hibernate
• Experience with a columnar database (Vertica advantage)

Responsibilities

• Play a significant role in the design & development of the company’s software cloud solution
• Take ownership of the entire development cycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and delivering to production in an agile environment
• Be initiative and proactive, facilitate and accelerate execution
• Implement new features on the ProteanTecs platform, handling massive amounts of data from silicon chips, and collaborate with analytics and algorithm group
• Maintain a high standard of code quality and on-time delivery
