The Technology Operations Services Group (TOSG), part of Enterprise IT function provides the high-performance compute environment that fuels product and solutions development for Arm’s engineering community. Whether it’s high-performance compute on our infrastructure and in the cloud, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, or custom software tools and workflows, the products, and services we deliver are used by every engineer in Arm.

Job Overview:

Working closely with technical leads, technical managers, project managers, and engineering teams across TSOG you will be a motivator in providing automated project solutions, supporting daily ticket systems for common technical issues, and being core resources for high visibility projects which contribute to making our services secure, resilient, and apply the newest technologies.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Leadership mentality and determination to support arm’s Engineering community with stable HPC environment, continuous service improvement, multi-functional collaboration, industry standard processes and dedication to the best customer experience.
  • Solid grasp on large scale HPC clusters and RedHat skills
  • Has a passion for progress in personal development and furthermore for the greater good of organization’s objectives.
  • Thrive on finding the right solutions based on the customer requirements and helping to clearly set expectations.
  • Highly motivated to learn, grow and develop independently yet also a leader among peers
  • Customer focussed attitude
  • Strongly engaged with Technical Leads from other functional teams to improve services
  • Understanding of software development methodologies -e.g. Agile, Automation, JIRA and Confluence experience

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding n HPC job scheduler IBM LSF , License scheduler
  • Linux OS fundamentals and performance tuning
  • Strong knowledge and understanding about remote display technologies like ETX
  • Solid understanding on cloud fundamentals in AWS or GCP
  • Good understanding of HPC infrastructure and applications concepts along with storage and networking infrastructure
  • Good understanding of automation technologies – Terraform, Ansible, python, shell scripting
  • Exposure to HPC applications like EDA tools, Flex based Licenses are desirable
  • Good understanding and experience in monitoring and alerting tools and technologies
  • Strong abilities with Vulnerability Management and security patching of constantly evolving environment
