This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Financial Analyst, North America Diagnostics, Business Line Controlling, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis of the North American Diagnostics Instrument and Reagent Segments
  • Performing analysis of business and marketing/financial performance, identify key customer trends and provide appropriate commentary
  • Preparing executive level reports and marketing presentations including the development and maintenance of executive dashboards
  • Maintaining and update planning models, tools and processes to reflect current and future changes to the business as new information is acquired
  • Shaping digitalization for the future within the business by the development of dashboards, apps and reporting tools used (leveraging Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
  • Partnering with the respective finance, sales and marketing teams to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives while working collaboratively with cross functional departments to guide the financial success of the assigned North American Diagnostics Instrument and Reagent Segments
  • Willing to assume and complete ad-hoc/special projects, other assignments etc. as delegated or necessary.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and related area(s)
  • 8-10+ years in relevant field, balanced against relevant Siemens’s experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting and finance principles.  MBA and/or CPA preferred, is an asset
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with ability to apply problem solving techniques, creativity, and critical thinking to drive continuous improvement
  • Effective communicator with team members and with Senior level management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with and influence all levels from individual contributors to executives, including those who are more technically focused
  • Ability to build effective strategy (both with our customers and internally) and couple it with execution
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability
  • Demonstrated strong change management capability
  • Proven ability to manage projects/tasks to ensure timely delivery with high quality results
  • Self-starter, capable of bringing projects to a successful conclusion with minimal supervision
  • Project management, business process reengineering knowledge
  • Experience with digitalization and business process improvement
  • Proven ability to work with business analytics tools, dashboards, conduct data analysis, and drive implementation of improvement projects
  • Ability to evaluate and support implementation of new tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise within the Microsoft Office suite of products is necessary; power apps preferred
  • Travel required, estimated 5%
