Remote Junior Power BI Analyst Intern

Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a motivated and analytical Power BI Business Analyst Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to meaningful projects that impact our business. This internship offers valuable experience in leveraging Power BI to extract insights, create reports, and support decision-making processes.

•Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.

•Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and recommendations based on data.

•Assist in data cleaning, transformation, and modeling to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

•Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

•Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.

•Learn and grow additional analytical skills from Procore and Salesforce data models to support SGT’s fast-paced, data-driven environment.

•Currently rising junior or above pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Business or related field.

•Cumulative GPA 3.2 or higher

•Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

•Knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.

•Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.

•Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and data integrity.

•Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

•Prior internship or coursework related to data analytics or business intelligence.

•A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
