Principal Engineer Design Enablement (ESD Modeling Engineer)
ESD compact modeling position in the Design Enablement Organization. Job scope will entail modeling high current and shell/wrapper model ESD devices in Spectre and HSPICE. In addition, continuous improvement will be required in new and more accurate model topologies and extraction tool automation. Deep interactions with the Technology Enablement ESD device team and Design Enablement PDK team are required. Excellent verbal and oral communication skills are key to success.
Required Skills:
1. MS in EE
2. Device Physics
3. Basic circuit design
4. Intermediate level compact modeling knowledge
5. Software skills in R-code
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred skills:
1. MS in EE + 2 years experience
2. Device Physics
3. Basic circuit design
4. Advanced level compact modeling knowledge
5. Software skills in R-code, Python, Java, Javascript
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
