As PMO Director at Arteris your role will be a senior-level position responsible for overseeing company-wide project management strategies, ensuring projects align with organizational goals, and leading the Project Management Office (PMO) to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Planning: accountable for creating and implementing project management strategies that align with the organization’s objectives. You ensure that all projects are prioritized and delivered successfully.
  • Project Governance: establish governance frameworks for project management, ensuring that best practices are followed and that projects adhere to organizational standards; with a strong focus on engineering quality assurance.
  • Quality and Performance Monitoring: monitor project quality and performance, using metrics and KPIs to assess progress and process compliance; and propose informed decisions about resource allocation and project adjustments.
  • Resource Management: manage the Project Managers of each Product Line, and propose resources allocation across all projects, ensuring that teams have the necessary support to meet deadlines and quality constraints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: engage with engineering directors, product marketing directors, application engineering directors, sales leads and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration across projects, ensuring alignment and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Change Management: play a crucial role in managing change within the organization, ensuring that project teams are equipped to handle transitions and that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Skills Required

  • Leadership: strong leadership skills are essential for guiding project teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Semiconductor Industry background: in-depth understanding of digital SoC design, verification and implementation methodologies, with several years of experience in silicon engineering roles before moving into project management.
  • Analytical Thinking: ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions is crucial for effective project management.
  • Communication: excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders and convey project goals and updates.
  • Project Management Expertise: deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices is vital for success in this role.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience of Project Management in silicon hardware or EDA development industries.
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer in digital silicon design, verification and/or physical implementation.
  • MSc/MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science.
  • PMP Certification.

Base Salary depending qualification and experience between 100 to 120KE / year
