Summary/Objective: The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the facility related to Company Policies & Procedures, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Inventory, Logistics, Receiving, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and promotion of Samtec Culture to all associates.
POSITION WILL BE ON ROTATED (2-4 YEARS IN 1 LOCATION) BETWEEN CHINA, MALAYSIA AND VIETNAM LOCATIONS
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Promotes Samtec’s Corporate Culture and image by collaborating with associates, adhering to Samtec’s Policies & Procedures, and being involved in community events and organizations for the company.
- Direct and manage facility operations for production, maintenance, quality, shipping and receiving.
- Coordinate facility activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Responsible for cost effective control over capital expenses, operating expenditures, and manpower.
- Oversees capital asset maintenance.
- Establish and monitor overall facility performance for production, quality and compliance standards.
- Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.
- Maintain existing facility facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to facility facilities and equipment when necessary.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Oversee effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and facility cleanliness among department managers and associates.
- Provides direction, development and leadership to department managers.

Required Experience:
- 10+ Years’ Experience in Facility Management or managing Production teams.
- Experiencing analyzing data and presenting that information to Top Management.
