Summary/Objective: As a PCB Project Coordinator and Vendor Manager, you are the primary point of contact for PCB projects. Your excellent technical aptitude, communication, team engagement and organizational skills will demonstrate your energy, motivation, and commitment to Sudden Service. Your flexibility and ability to adjust to changes will show your resourcefulness to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities easily.  You understand PCB fabrication process technologies and the tradeoffs between electrical, mechanical and process requirements.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

  •  Manage, track and report progress for PCB projects.
  • Develop metrics for process health, identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Manage PCB fab house relationships; aid in qualifying new fabs or processes as needed.
  • Function as technical liaison between design engineers, layout, and fabrication.
  • Provide insight into fab capabilities, processes, and tradeoffs for design engineers.
  • Attend design reviews and provide input as needed.
  • Review fabrication vendor’s responses to the design package; ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Maintain project and process collateral in accordance with configuration management practices.

Required Experience: 

  • 10+ years related work experience.
  • Understanding of advanced PCB design & fabrication process.
  • Project Management experience is required.
  • Experience with PCB fabrication technologies is required.
  • Ability to communicate technical information at various levels of detail based on the audience.
  • An understanding of transmission line theory and high-speed digital design is desired.
  • Experience with PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro is beneficial.

Education:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent is required.
