Student Interns integrate classroom studies with learning through productive work experiences in a field related to a student’s academic or career goals. Internships are generally one term experiences, generally in the summer, though some can translate into part time work or follow on terms. Student interns may or may not receive college credit or a grade for their internship experience.
Main Objective: Support the Mendix Partner Development team in developing and executing a comprehensive Resell Partner Recruitment Plan for the International team, covering Nordics, Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, Turkey, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Leverage the Ideal Partner Profile: Conduct market research to identify potential Mendix partners in targeted regions and industries. Clearly document the characteristics and criteria to meet the ideal Mendix resell partner profile.
- Partner Database Creation and Maintenance: Compile and maintain a structured list of potential partners per country/region (e.g., South Africa, Turkey, Poland), tracking interactions and pipeline opportunities.
- Value Proposition Development: Leverage the intro deck and other content to formulate compelling reasons and benefits for potential partners to join the Mendix Partner Ecosystem. Help prepare partner marketing and enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and newsletters.
- Recruitment Stages Definition: Together with the central PDE team establish clear recruitment phases, including initial outreach, qualification, and onboarding.
- Partner Outreach and Qualification: Contact and qualify potential partners using email, LinkedIn, and telephone communications
- Alignment and Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with PDE (Andy/Benedict) to align on qualification processes and develop a cohesive initiation plan. Coordinate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Enablement teams.
- Partner Selection and Onboarding Support: Select partners in collaboration with the PME and assist with operational onboarding activities, including documentation, coordination of training sessions, and providing access to partner portals.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze partner performance metrics and assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with Mendix platform developments, partner programs, and competitive trends.
