Summary/Objective: Lead the Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering and Build (MCB) group to design, assemble, wire, program, troubleshoot, and prove capability for the automated machine build projects.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Inspire, lead, organize and manage our MCB team that must meet changing requirements and diverse advanced technologies to serve our internal customers time to market demands, associate safety requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Provide leadership in design and build to meet global safety standards.
- Help in forecasting and maintaining MCB team resources, project budgets and individual project performance metrics.
- Manage/Coordinate resources between different engineering groups.
- Review Tool and Automation designs and provide feedback to designers in the group.
- Responsible for coordinating training for MCB Teams.
- Responsible for overseeing the requirements for sustaining activity such as tooling modifications.
- Review and help maintain the Build Group tasks for project updates in the Project Tracking System as well as developing a weekly work plan for this group.
- Responsible for the department associate annual evaluations as well as performance bonus determinations
- Establish Best Practices and Policies for the department consistent with company goals and objectives in an open and collaborative manner.
- Reinforce and encourage company core values.
- Support the development of standards for global usage for machine design build practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall compliance and quality of delivery.
- Must be flexible, possess strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required Experience:
- 7+ Years’ Experience in the engineering and building of automated machines (includes design, build, debug, and release to production).
- Excellent technical, problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English (minimum TOEIC score of 740 or TOEFL score of 90)
- Proficient in Microsoft
- Proficient in SolidWorks or other 3D design tools
- Basic Knowledge of controls design software (ePlan preferred).
- Strong decision-making capabilities and capacity to handle confidential information.
- Strong operational knowledge of assembly process concepts and development such as material feeding, assembly, testing, marking, and packaging
- Basic understanding of the controls platforms from a hardware design and programming.
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international) up to 20% of the calendar year
Preferred Education:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent years’ experience in the field of Automated Assembly Machine Production.
