Located at the foothills of majestic Pikes Peak, the Colorado Springs Technology Center serves the role of providing leading-edge technology access for new product development as well as complex low-volume manufacturing for our internal Keysight partners.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Thick Film Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining thick film and fine line processes to ensure high-quality production and efficiency. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize thick film and fine line processes, including screen printing, drying, and firing.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Work with other process engineers to develop new product solutions.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve process performance and yield.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, including drawings and procedures
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve process stability.
  • Train and mentor production staff on thick film and fine lines processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experienced of providing technical support a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, process control tools, CAD layout, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) and other failure analysis tools.
  • Experiences working with thick film materials, equipment, and processes. (preferred)
  • Experience with photo-lithography, thin film, and laser trimming processes (preferred)

Note:

Compensation for this position will be based on the candidate’s education, experiences, and skill level.

Pay Range:

USD $74,670.00 – USD $124,440.00 Year
