IT Support Engineer

What you will be doing
This role is in hands-on support of company computer systems. You will be the initial point of contact for any tech support queries so a service delivery attitude with a hands-on flexible approach is key.
Requirements
We use the following tools, amongst others:
- Python
- Unix/Linux shell-scripts
- Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence)
- Other cloud-based tools
- OpenText ETX
- RHEL workstations on AWS
- Gitlab CI
- Puppet
- Terraform
- IC EDA tools
What we need from you:
- Hands on experience with Mac OSX and Windows
- Network experience managing network interfaces, ideally including Cisco IOS
- A proactive nature focusing on getting things done and taking the lead on tech support
- A strong emphasis on delivering superior customer service to employees
- The ability to be able to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks and tickets
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure new starters have a positive IT induction
- Previous experience of maintaining aspects of core infrastructure systems and services.
Even better if you have:
- Exposure to other programming languages
- Hands-on experience with Windows
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with AWS
