Main tasks and responsibilities:

– Generate new business and leads through prospecting programs including email and telephone campaigns

– Follow-up of inquiries from interested parties regarding software products

– Qualification of opportunities by applying sales and technical expertise and forwarding to the responsible opportunity owner

– Support in planning meetings, appointments and product demonstrations

– Collaboration with marketing, sales, channel and product teams

– Research to identify new market opportunities through targeted engagement with potential customers

– Involvement of existing customers in the development of customer information material

– Ensuring data integrity and consistency in the CRM system by updating customer lead and/or contact information

Minimum requirements and experience

– Studies in business administration, marketing, engineering or a similar course of study such as industrial engineering.

– Success orientation and willingness to learn

– Competence and affinity for networking and ability to build business relationships within a short period of time

– Excellent communication skills

– Very good knowledge of German and English is required.

– Affinity to technical topics

– Experience in using social media

Preferred qualifications

– Analytical ability to evaluate business opportunities based on pre-defined criteria

– Ability to understand industry issues and apply sales techniques
