Job Description
The focus of this role is to lead a team of verification engineers to verify new and existing features for Intel’s next generation CPU IP, resulting in bug free final design.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and ucode engineers to understand the new features being implemented, create test plans and functional coverage metrics.
Plan and implement the UVM testbench, functional coverage model and assertions.
Participate in debugging failing verification tests to determine if the root cause is an error in the RTL, verification model, or the test. Fix all identified failures in the verification model.
When appropriate, verify low power design features at the subsystem level using power-aware verification technique and formal verification.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 9+ years of experience in: – OR – a Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 6+ years of experience in:

ASIC Verilog design and functional modeling
UVM test benches and complex UVM project
Assertion and Functional Coverage
Debugging RTL code using simulation tools
Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience with:

Programming in C/C++ for modeling and stimulus generation
Performance Verification
Formal Verification
