Job Summary:

Altair’s Business Intelligence Division is looking grow our thriving Inside Sales Team and are actively looking to hire current sales reps with a strong track record of success within software sales.

We are seeking focused, driven professionals looking to take their career to the next level. As an Inside Sales rep you will be conducting the majority of your business via the phone but will also have the ability to travel to key accounts US wide. We are looking for strong, passionate candidates to join our team.

In this role, you will be provided the guidance and training needed to become a software technology sales expert while mastering the art of phone sales and the finesse of targeted email campaigns. You will actively collaborate with marketing and other AE’s to develop the best ways to grow and close your pipeline. This role reports to the VP of Inside Sales (Data Intelligence SMB)

What You Will Do:

  • Actively work your client base within your territory to strengthen relationships and forge new ones
  • Generate revenue from new Solution features to adopt and expanded customer usage
  • Prospect into new accounts that need to see data in a new way
  • Work with partner channel to grow your pipeline
  • Establish Account/Territory Mapping/Plan
  • Work closely with Business Development Representatives “BDRs” to help prospect new business
  • Coordinate and lead Sales calls with the Solutions Architect team
  • Create, Close, Repeat

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Minimum 2-3 years selling software solutions
  • Proven track record of hitting targets/goals
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames
  • Ability to set, pursue and attain achievable goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances
  • Quick ability to Identify actions necessary to complete tasks and obtain results
  • Strong ability to recover thru adversity and change
  • Establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of systems, procedures or outcomes
  • Interact with others in a positive and constructive manner
