Infotainment Project Manager

Job Summary:

Our client in Raymond, OH is looking for an Infotainment Project Manager.  This is a long-term contract position.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate software and hardware delivery schedules for all Infotainment components
• Ensure alignment to vehicle development schedule
• Ensure alignment of component schedules.
• Create and maintain master schedule
• Project Development Status Tracking and Reporting for Infotainment System
• Conduct weekly internal status meeting with Infotainment development team
• Capture development concerns
• Moderate concern discussion and propose path for resolution
• Conduct weekly supplier status meetings
•  Capture development concerns
•  Moderate concern discussion and propose path for resolution
• Track system change request status and work with System Engineering to promote resolution
• Report Project Health Status to Management and propose measures for resolution
•  Risk Assessment, Bug Status, Change Request status, etc
• Event Planning for Verification events and evaluation events
• Plan and facilitate cross check events with internal and external members
• Set event objectives and daily schedule
•  Coordinate required facilities, resources, and event access for external members
• Create and manage digital space for tracking of open items and resolution
• Create summary of event and report to management
• Schedule reports or demonstrations with Technical Evaluation Committee or external groups as needed
• Create and manage the test vehicle schedule for infotainment based on testing needs and coordinate the test plan with the vehicle team.
• Coordinate test bench needs and ensure delivery is in accordance with supplier and Honda validation plans
• Propose and track budget for assigned project test bench need

What You Will Need:

• Candidate must have prior Project Management experience in a product development environment; electrical hardware and software development experience preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven track record delivering final products within scope, cost and schedule requirements.
• This individual will be able to adapt to changing organizational demands while managing risk and proposing solutions to keep development projects on track – all while providing a positive working environment.
