Our engineering teams are located in Santa Rosa California and Colorado Springs, Colorado and relocation benefits are provided.  Although you’ll be part of a team, you will also be working independently and setting your own priorities. The scope and complexity of your projects will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills. About the Job:

You will be part of a small development team and will work on the design, implementation, and testing of Keysight market leading products that help connect and secure the world. You will develop digital hardware-based products and solutions that enable market-leading companies to deliver their own goals applying Keysight measurement-science to leading-edge technologies.

About the Team:

Our team is very competent, highly motivated, friendly, and eager to help you succeed. The team has a mix of new and experienced developers with a broad range of skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and qualification of electrical circuitry for high frequency measurement solutions
  • Specific focus on design and implementation of PXIe based ARB and Digitizer products. Design work in high frequency digital interconnect and FPGA development work.
  • Schematic capture and coordination with board layout resources to produce operational modules.
  • Verification that final designs meet all environmental, regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaboration with multi-discipline engineering team (HW, FW, ME, SW).
  • Investigation and development of end-to-end processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into reality.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS Degree in EE or ECE.
  • 5-10 years experience developing high frequency commercial products.
  • Strong knowledge of digital hardware design, data conversion and digital signal processing.
  • Circuit Design Simulation (LTSpice, Cadence, Hyperlynx, Spice, PSpice).
  • The ability to work in a team and across geographic boundaries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able legally work in the U.S. without requiring present/future sponsorship for employment.
  • FPGA development experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing Xilinx based products and FPGA code
  • Programming language experience (C/C++ or C#) and familiarity with modern object-oriented software design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools and techniques.
  • Proficient with electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • FPGA development in Vivado tools

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN 106k – Max 178k

Colorado pay range:  MIN 98k – Max 164K
