What does the job consist?

The context of the position

The Human Resources Department is made up of around thirty employees, in generalist roles, and areas of expertise (Management & Skills Development, Personnel Administration, social relations, recruitment, etc.)

Reporting to an HR manager, you support the finance, HR, Central Planning, Quality, Sustainability and Purchasing departments, which are mainly made up of technicians, executives and managers.

What does the job consist of? 

Working closely with the department director and operational managers, you understand business issues and support management in taking into account organizational and human issues. 

A true HR entry point for employees in your area. You respond to all daily HR issues by relying on the technical expertise of other HR departments (payroll, personnel administration, training, etc.) 

Your role will include: 

  • to provide HR support   : HR, organizational, social, legal advice, monitoring of annual interviews and coordination of salary policy, monitoring of the social climate, monitoring of integrations, implementation of disciplinary procedures, etc.
  • to lead HR communication within teams:  monitoring of individual issues (including mediation), deployment of HR communications to managers.
  • to lead skills development processes   : advice and support for managers on the training plan, the promotion plan, recruitment management (internal/international mobility and external recruitment) in connection with the recruitment plan and the associated budget, leading People Reviews, etc.

Beyond your scope and with a view to optimization and efficiency, you are required to propose and contribute to the development of HR processes and tools. 

Requirements & qualifications

Graduate of a Bac+5 with a specialization in Human Resources, and/or Social Law (Sciences Po, CELSA, CIFFOP, university diploma or HR major in a Grande Ecole course) you have more than 10 years’ experience in a generalist HR function in an industrial context. 

You like the versatility offered by a generalist HR position and have already proven yourself on key themes such as the recruitment of manager and executive profiles with an international dimension, skills development, etc. 

You have a very good ability to analyze situations, you know how to manage several subjects at once while maintaining the necessary perspective to make important decisions.

Your taste for the field and your ability to create connections will be essential assets for building trust with your internal contacts and for collaborating effectively.

You know how to keep a certain distance when faced with complex human or social situations. 

Curious by nature, you appreciate the demands of our technological environment.

Your mastery of English, both written and oral, is necessary for your regular interactions with management teams based in Asia, in particular.  

This position is identified as a “sensitive position” with regard to European customs legislation applicable to Soitec SA within the framework of its certification as an “Authorized Economic Operator”
