Our Service & Solutions Associate Project Managers coordinate and deliver multiple fire alarm and sprinkler projects in both new and existing facilities and have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction. As a Service & Solutions Associate Project Manager, you will:
- Support the project manager during all phases of the project including milestone deliverables, documentation, case management, and financial aspects.
- Organize and deliver small-scale projects while being responsible for managing the finance, schedule, change orders, and customers and coordinate to develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project and site teams. Identify time-sensitive project needs.
- Track resources and project progress. Participate in customer meetings and drive them on behalf of project managers as needed and capture notes during all phases of the project: from project start to close and punch list meetings and capture punch list from site commissioning and drive closure through close coordination with Siemens field service technicians, customer care team, project managers, factory personnel and vendors. Attend meetings with customer and Siemens site team to update on progress site punch list.
- Develop and deliver monthly status reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external stakeholders on an as-needed basis and drive final customer acceptance milestones including completion of all documentation requirements, including commissioning, acceptance, and closing financial documentation.
- Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation and ensure field service personnel scheduled to visit project sites have reviewed project documentation ahead of site visit.
- Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups during project development and support completion of project-specific close-out documentation and own and drive all aspects of the close milestone processing to achieve timely and clean project quality gates.
- Work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers.
- Review and establish project intent through project-specific documents, specifications, and drawings; develop and maintain a project schedule, coordinating needs with the project team, and identifying time-sensitive installation needs
- Manage financials, requisition of supplies and materials, project cost reviews, and backlog to ensure favorable billing position, drive revenue, and meet monthly and quarterly goals; coordinate project-specific billing with accounting team and Operations Manager
- Conduct project orientation for technicians, provide necessary documentation, manage and coordinate subcontractors, track resources and project progress, document impactful events, pursue change-order opportunities, and schedule commissioning resources
- Complete project-specific close-out documentation, expedite the return of mark-ups for as-built development, maintain life safety systems during installation, migration, or replacement, and professionally represent the company to the owner or owner’s representative throughout the project
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions, and effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements

You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or state-recognized GED
- Project or construction management internship, or related work experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of commercial fire alarm / life safety systems or related; ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and customer specifications
- Knowledge and understanding of industry applications; ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Verbal and written English communication skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- Microsoft Project
- 2+ years of technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
- Knowledgeable in local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations

- The pay range for this position is $53,410 – $91,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
