Responsibilities

As a member of Keysight’s Resident Professional Field Service Team, you will work on test instruments and solutions used in a wide variety of applications and industries.  You would provide expert onsite repair and calibration services at the customer location, enabling minimum downtime of Keysight Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and RF Signal Generators. Example product families include the 8510 and N52XXA/B Network Analyzers, N90XXA/B Spectrum Analyzers, E82XXD and 51XXA/B Signal Generators among others.

You will have the responsibility of supporting our customers through the maintenance, calibration, and repair of their Keysight equipment listed above. You will be called upon to provide onsite service work in the local Nashua NH area. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure on-time calibrations, performed on customer site
  • Perform repairs of customer Keysight equipment in timely, thorough, and professional manner
  • Solve a broad range of system problems of varying scope and complexity, involving hardware, software, networking, and operating system
  • Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers’ and Keysight Technologies’ test equipment assets
  • Ensure compatibility between customer expectation and support provided by Keysight Technologies.
  • Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required
  • Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on Keysight products after repairs
  • Install software and firmware upgrades that may include re-image of the customer’s instrument
  • Ability to Perform repairs, on most Keysight products that are critical to customer uptime.

Qualifications

This critical role requires the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in Field Customer Support of Test and Measurement instruments.
  • RF/ Microwave repair and calibration up to 50 GHz is required
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
  • Must have calibration and repair service experience of all types of Keysight Test Equipment
  • Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) a plus.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
  • Must be able to pass a Secret Level Security Clearance screening
  • Candidates must be in local area (Nashua, NH) or willing to relocate themselves
  • Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Network Analyzer system knowledge desired
  • Must have Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to work in high-stress, mission-critical situations – your performance impacts customer results
