Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance to provide a safe, clean, comfortable environment for the associates.
- Supervise internal associates and contractors in all aspects of Facilities Maintenance.
- Setup and continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Establish and maintain KPI’s for PM performance.
- Develop reports for KPI’s and review with local teams for continuous improvements.
- Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting and repairs for Facilities equipment issues.
- Review and cost management of all Facilities Maintenance Contracts.
- Fire Suppression
- HVAC
- Cleaning
- Service Contracts
- Lawn/Landscape Maintenance
- Manage annual Capital Expenditure Activities for the Facilities.
- Develop Project List and Prioritize with local leadership.
- Update List as items are scheduled and completed.
- Communicate regularly with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff for contract requirement & the daily operational activities
- Ensure all Facilities Maintenance personnel have appropriate training to safety perform required duties.
- Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by Management.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Maintenance and Facility Management or equivalent
- Experience in Facilities maintenance and operation
- Experience in HAZMAT Disposal is required.
- Experience in Scheduled Waste Management system / ISO14001
- Self-stater with minimal supervision
- Firm understanding of planning maintenance and activities
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Related Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certificate Chargeman BO (11kVA) (recognize by Suruhanjaya Tenaga or equivalent) if preferable.
