EDA Software Engineer

Description:

● Blue Cheetah is looking for an EDA software engineer with strong object oriented programming skills, preferably in Python, as well as general scripting experience.

● Candidate will work closely with expert circuit designers to build critical CAD infrastructure and reinforce rapid design methodologies

● Work alongside other analog, digital, and software engineers at Blue Cheetah to push the bounds on design efficiency of mixed signal ICs.

● While we are headquartered in Sunnyvale, this position will allow for the right candidate to work for us remotely (US locations only, with authorization to work in the US)

Requirements:

● BSc+MS or Ph.D in electrical engineering and computer science

● Knowledge of industry-leading CAD tools and methodologies

● Strong software engineering skills, experience in OOP, scripting, git, and Python programming

● Self-starter who has drive to figure out better ways to do things

Plus Skills:

● Tape-out design expertise

● Strong fundamentals in algorithms

● Digital, SoC design expertise

● Experience using BAG
