Field Application Engineer

As a Field Application Engineer at Arteris, you will work with an expert team to support and deploy on chip interconnect/fabric and memory hierarchy solutions for some of the world’s most sophisticated mobile, telecom, automotive, and consumer SoC designs.

Using your strong background in System design, SoC architecture and RTL, and your enthusiasm for technology, you will take part in pre-sales activities to convince potential customers of the technical benefits of our technology.  You will also take part of post sales and support some of the most interesting and advanced customers in the semiconductor industry.

This position is based in China and will require being able to travel approximately 20% of the time within China.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

You have at least 5+ years of experience in either SOC architecture, front end design, backend / implementation, or verification.
You are customer focused and enjoy working with them to help find solutions
You have experience in a customer-facing role and/or working with a sales team
You are motivated to train and educate others and help them solve complex problems
You are a strong self-learning and problem solver
You have working knowledge of SoC architecture, including CPU integration, DDR, optimization techniques to achieve power, performance and area goals
You have good presentation and organizational skills
Python or Perl scripting
Desired:

Knowledge of UVM
Knowledge of TLM / SystemC modeling
Knowledge of physical implementation
Familiarity with the ARM ecosystem (CPU, interfaces, fabrics)
Familiarity with cache coherency
