Application Development Engineer – Electromagnetics

Job Summary:

Altair is offering an “Applications development” position with the purpose of expanding the capabilities and applications of Altair Feko time-domain computational electromagnetics solutions.

What You Will Do:

• We are looking for an engineer with experience in the application of time-domain computational electromagnetics techniques to strengthen our development team.
• Integrated into a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will be involved in the investigation, specification, and development of new features for Altair Feko.
• You will interact closely with the core Feko development teams, driving the improvement of the existing time-domain capabilities of the tool.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• PhD or Master’s degree focused on electromagnetics
• Experience using computational electromagnetics tools in practical applications (time-domain approaches preferably).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proactive and precise approach to tasks

Preferred:

• A passion for science and finding creative user-centered solutions to challenging industrial problems
• Good English communication skills, verbal and written
