Android Build System Automation Engineer

The person will be working with a team, which is responsible for Android build system/packaging, Automated integration and test-framework. He/She will be working across all functional areas with good collaboration across global sites. The teams goal is automate all possible things towards supporting the Linux SW development cycle, to ease life of developers and all stake holders to make internal and external releases as quickly as possible.

The person with 3 to 5 years of experience in the below area is preferable. He/She should have experience in build & integration area with the following set of Mandatory Skills: C Programming, Linux System concepts and Android system overview. Good Written and verbal communication skills Prior experience in Continuous Integration and Build System is a plus. CM tools like git, perforce etc.. Good in scripting , Shell & PERL is Required, Python experience is a plus Good in problem solving. Optional Repo, Git and Gerrit tools Android Build procedure & Framework Exposure in Continuous Integration tools like Electric Commander, Jenkins, Hudson.

-> C Programming.

-> Expertise in scripting – Shell/ Perl. Python is plus.

-> Good programming and problem solving skills

-> Hands on experience on SCM tools like git/ perforce etc..

-> Experience in JAVA programming is a plus.

-> Linux operating system and driver concepts.
