Description: Leveraging a FastSPICE engine built from the ground up, Cadence Spectre FX Simulator delivers performance and accuracy improvements for full-chip and subsystem-level designs. Spectre FX simulator provides extensive circuit checking capabilities, allowing multithreading scalability up to 32 cores for massive simulation parallelization, simplified presets use-model for accuracy versus performance tradeoff and larger capacity.

Cadence Spectre X GPU integrates the huge parallel computation capabilities of GPU with the complex operations of CPU and gets a balanced performance between both computational horses. The performance gains achieved by using this flow can deliver up to 5X speedup over traditional CPU-based simulators by utilizing only a single GPU. By adopting this flow, users can benefit from faster design sign-off and increased the design coverage with high accuracy requirements.
