Provides a strong level of support to the Production environment, utilising experience in process control and SPC [Statistical Process Control] in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
Key tasks
Provide Production Engineering cover to the FlexLogIC-001 (200mm) & future FlexLogIC-002 (300mm) production line.
Improve turn-around between check completion and returning the tool to production use (if check unsatisfactory).
Assisting with training & mentoring of Production Engineering Technicians.
Lead SPC improvement objectives to improve tool performance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve yield impacting issues on deposition equipment (200 & 300mm lines)
Lead cross-functional teams to investigate wider process issues & implement solutions
Qualifications and training
Physics / Electronics / Semiconductor to BSc level or higher
Lean 6-sigma training (green / black belt)
Skills and experience
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Software)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Previous working experience within a Semiconductor facility, preferably 24/7 operation
Experience with statistical tools such as MATLab, Minitab or SAS-JMP
Understanding of the importance of any Engineering improvements or work on the functionality of our devices
Engineering level understanding of a variety of Deposition wafer process equipment (Magnetron sputter, ALD, evaporation, CVD, PECVD)
Worked on / understanding of processing on a variety of other standard semiconductor wafer processing equipment (photolithography, dry-etch, wet-etch etc. etc.)
Experience with film material characterisation & Failure Analysis techniques (SEM, EDX, X-ray etc. etc.)
Experience in leading / working closely within cross-functional teams
