Facility Technician

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of IH facility infrastructure
• Ensure basic utilities are maintained – water, lights
• Illumination & retrofit
• Surge protector management & monitoring
• Energy management & monitoring
• Correction of Hazard – roof leaks, etc.
• Recycling program & facility cleanliness
• Ensure recycling routines are maintained – ensure wastes are properly segregated and disposed.
• Grounds / landscape management
• Pest controls & trash removal
• Others
• IH Fire Fighting system
• Furniture disposal
• Procurement of maintenance & repair supplies and/or services
• Spill Kit Inspection – management
• Any other job related duties as assigned by management.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Required Experience

• 3 years related experience / similar position.

Preferred Education:

• Diploma / related technical or equivalent experience.
