The Senior Field Program Manager maintains and expands relationships within the company’s major accounts and is responsible for managing day to day project planning and management activities to achieve customer success.

This position reports to the VP Sales, Strategic Accounts.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project or Program Management in a high-tech industry
  • High Level management and leadership skills
  • Ability to schedule and manage multi-tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Risk management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a high-tech industry with direct product development, program management, or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, PMP certification a plus
  • Experience and comfort in a start-up environment
  • This position requires infrequent domestic and international travel
  • All prospective employees must pass background checks
  • Location: US


  • Works closely together with Sales, Field Applications Engineers and senior management across time zones and focuses on customer success
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Maximize proteanTecs’ opportunity while providing value added solutions to assigned accounts
  • Manage day to day project planning and management activities
  • Initiate, Schedule and conduct routine project meetings and follow ups with relevant team members including FAE, Business Development, Marketing and Sales and R&D
  • Develop project tracking documents, communications and presentations
  • Help drive timely customer deliverables
