Salesforce Admin Developer

Job Description and Requirements

The candidate will join the Synopsys IT team who are responsible for the administration and support of solutions in the Salesforce environment using Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Lightning platform, Apex and Visual Force.

Bachelor’s degree

• 2+ years experience in Salesforce administration and development
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and security in the areas of applications, user authentication, user access management, data management and secure coding
• Knowledge of Salesforce security products including event monitoring
• Ability to communicate and build effective partnerships across technical and business teams
• In summary, the Salesforce Administrator / Developer will monitor the platform and provide solutions to keep Synopsys systems and data secure and compliant

General Responsibilities

• Advise developers of IT standards and best practices during development of object/org level security sharing rules, permission sets and field level security
• Demonstrate code review skills to identify vulnerabilities
• Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and security patches
• Participate in security audits of systems
• Monitor change management – CI/CD processes from development to production
• Monitor daily backups and be able to restore under emergency circumstances
• Monitor user activity and drive user adoption. Present summary of anomalies to IT and business stakeholders from time to time.
• Optimize system performance – identify bottlenecks to improve user experience
• Provide global day-to-day end-user support

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of Salesforce Administration / Development experience
• Understanding of the constraints of the SFDC platform e.g., governor limits & interdependencies
• Experience with one or more CI/CD tools such as Copado or Flosum
• Experience integrating 3rd party apps and AppExchange products with Salesforce
• Experience responding to production support requests & troubleshooting issues
• Salesforce customization and configuration experience (at least 1 or more of the following five Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities and Knowledge)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party systems using REST APIs
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or other related fields required.  Masters degree a plus
• Platform AppBuilder/Developer certification and Admin/Advanced admin certification are preferred
