Job Description

Intel IT’s Order to Cash team is seeking a Product Manager to join our group of IT professionals driving the transformation of Intel’s Order Management and Software and Services capabilities. In this senior role, you will be directly responsible for business unit relationships with senior leadership in respective stakeholder groups, you influence the strategic direction of capability roadmaps directly aligned to business vision and define transformational value for the corporation. You are accountable for managing the sustaining health of the order to cash processes, data, and tools. Order management is critical for Intel’s revenue recognition across all businesses. Software and Services IT is a key enabler of Intel’s growing business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate directly with the Business Unit (BU) to translate business strategy and objectives into actionable roadmaps and value delivery accountable to the BU for the overall delivery of a portfolio of IT products and capabilities
  • Manages the customer relationship and represents IT as a strategic partner of an Intel Business Unit for full-stack business process solutions
  • Responsible for the learning and investment phases for new capabilities prior to execution. Ensures portfolio backlogs are prioritized to maximize business value realization, and plans are transparent to all stakeholders including Business Unit, Program Managers, SW Engineering Managers, Architecture, and Product Owners
  • Owns leading delivery which includes creating an environment where properly formed teams can excel at agile and DevOps practices, quality assurance to test automation, security, technical debt reduction, user acceptance testing, metrics, and Transition Change Management (TCM)
  • Responsible for team project deliverables and operational support
  • Serves as the proxy for all the stakeholders to their scrums and can speak for the commitment of their scrums
  • Leads Product Owner (PO) working group made up of POs from their scrums
  • Manages priorities, status and progress, trade-offs, escalations, impediment removal, scope changes, risks, dependencies, and value realization during the release cycle
  • Partners in employee development, empowering employees to grow skills and contributions

The ideal candidate should exhibit:

  • Proven and demonstrated stakeholder management and leadership engagement experience
  • Excellent communication skills to work across a globally diverse set of teams and customers
  • Demonstrated skills to elicit and analyze requirements, design innovative solutions, and communicate effectively to the Product Owner and tech team as needed
  • A self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to learn and apply
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to apply tangible data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause/analyses
  • Strategic and business value-driven mindset to plan, prioritize and influence customers and partners
  • Proven success in establishing and delivering large-scale transformational programs with complex TCM
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and objectives simplification to enable and empower teams working on several projects simultaneously

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Systems with 9+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Systems with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Order to Cash business processes and systems (SAP ECC, SAP EMS, Salesforce, Aria, Thales)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal or informal TCM knowledge and experience
  • Formal or informal solution Design experience
  • Domain knowledge of the broader supply chain is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile projects will be an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge of SAFe m
