Dan is joined by Amol Borkar, Product Marketing Director at Cadence. Since joining in 2018 as a senior product manager, he has led the development of many successful hardware and software products, including Tensilica’s latest Vision 331 and Vision 341 DSPs and 4DR accelerator targeted for various vision, automotive and AI edge applications.
Within Tensilica, he has been responsible for product management, marketing, partnerships and ecosystem growth for the Vision, ConnX and MathX families of DSPs. Previously, he was at Intel’s RealSense group, where he held various positions in engineering, product management and marketing and was responsible for the success of a number of RealSense’s 3D cameras.
Before joining Intel, Borkar developed computer vision-based advanced driver assistance algorithms for self-driving vehicles as part of this Ph.D. thesis.
