Podcast EP251: An Overview of DVCon Europe with Jakob Engblom
Dan is joined by Jakob Engblom this year’s vice chair and keynote chair for DVCon Europe. He’s been in the virtual platforms field since 2002, most recently as director of simulation technology ecosystem at Intel. His interests include simulation technologies, software and hardware testing and validation, programming and debug, embedded and low-level software, and computer architecture.
Jakob, who has been attending DVCon since 2016 provides an overview of the upcoming DVCon Europe event in Munich on October 15 and 16, 2024. He explains that this conference is unique in the region since the program is completely user driven. The technical program presents both academic research and practical application results. This year, there is a System C modeling contest as well.
Jakob explains that the agenda has been modified to expand the number of parallel paper tracks to five. Along with this, there is also more time in the agenda to network and visit the exhibit hall. Jakob also comments that the keynote presentations are strong and he expects a lot of interesting and unique presentations of AI technology.
