Type of employment:  Temporary, 8 – 20 hours/week

  • You will assist in setting up and verifying the development environment for SINEC OS by reviewing existing installation and configuration guides and checking their accuracy.
  • You will then assist in troubleshooting prototypes, analyze technical problems, and contribute to their resolution.
  • Building on this, you will take over the flashing, configuration and initial commissioning of new devices from the prototype production circle.
  • You will gradually work your way up to more advanced tasks and, after appropriate training, conduct integration tests and smaller development tasks in a non-time-critical environment.

Here’s how to convince us:

  • Education : You are currently successfully studying computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Experience and knowledge :
    • You have at least 6 months of experience with the programming languages ​​C/C++
    • You have initial experience with embedded systems, network technology, and basic knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, WLAN, switches, and SNMP.
    • You have experience with Linux, ideally also with Yocto Linux, GIT and Windows PCs.
  • Working style : You are characterized by a quick grasp of concepts, teamwork skills, and an independent and structured work style.
  • Language skills : You have good German skills and professional English skills.
