In this role, you will manage and develop contracts related to sales and technology development activities. This will include driving contract negotiations with clients and coordinating internal efforts with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., sales, SBU, Finance, etc.). Follow internal guidelines around GLOBALFOUNDRIES Intellectual Property protection and sharing. Manage cross-functional teams and executive reporting of efforts to finalize and negotiate development contracts. Observe corporate approval process. Manage special projects on as-needed basis.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive negotiations and the contracting process for key Sales, Technology, Manufacturing and Service agreements with GLOBALFOUNDRIES customers. This includes the ongoing contract administration and business management associated with these multi-year agreements.
• Provide business support for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) process as well as other contracts on as-needed basis.
• Program manage internal GLOBALFOUNDRIES cross-functional team members involved in the activities under negotiation including setting team objectives, establishing schedules, managing resource conflicts, manage team reporting, administering team repositories, and facilitating communications.
• Manage GLOBALFOUNDRIES policy and approvals for sharing/monetizing of strategic Intellectual Property with third parties.
• Support special projects on as-needed basis.

Education – Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 8 -10 years semiconductor manufacturing experience desired, or an advanced degree plus a minimum of 6-7 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing or technical contract management.
• Basic familiarity with contracting, drafting of technology contracts and contract law required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working within large and diverse organizations and making presentations to executive level audiences.
• Technical Program Management experience.
• Travel – 0-25% of travel required)
• Language Fluency – English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal negotiation skill training a plus.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Experience/familiarity in contract law.
• Some international travel may be required.
• Experience with Government contracting FARS/DFARS.
