Sr. Product/ Test Engineer

Primary responsibility to manage products’ high-volume production activities, including test program maintenance and optimization, yield monitoring, hold lot analysis and disposition, and field return activities.

Main duties for this role include but are not limited to: 

• Undertake product sustaining engineering responsibilities in production

• Support NPI qualification and documentation activities including qualification/interfacing with necessary 3rd party partners (HTOL, ESD, LU, Package Qual, Board Qual)

• Support ATE test program development and debug effort

• Support ATE test program transfer to overseas test house, yield monitoring and improvement, test-time and cost reduction, test issue resolution, and cycle-time efficiency activities.

• Support ATE to bench correlation and debug activities for sustaining and NPI products

• Own and maintain ATE production test program and test flow optimization activities.

• Support NCMR process to evaluate risk and proper disposition of the affected material.

• Support reliability monitor effort with follow up on process and analysis of results.

• Support customer RMA issues coordinating with FA and suppliers to identify device failure mechanism, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Work with test, product, and design teams to ensure effective resolution of technical issues and products’ outgoing quality.

• Support supplier quality excursion events through SCAR, quality score card generation and PCN activities

• Maintain the key performance index and metrics measurement in OSAT

Planning and support of test-chips, engineering samples and early production ramp

Minimum qualification for this role: 

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• B.Sc, M.Sc in EE preferred

• Candidate has been responsible to drive and sustain silicon products high-volume production with tier-1 customers

• Experience with automotive products is a plus

• Experience with embedded flash technology is a plus

• Delivered products in advanced CMOS process nodes

• Thorough understanding of industry requirements for high-volume Si product qualification and involvement with standards bodies (JEDEC)

• Fluent with Teradyne UFLEX test platforms

• Experience with programming languages like Python desired

• Experience with hardware PCB design (schematic, layout) for ATE and engineering hardware

• Ability to work with common bench top test equipment

• Proven debugging skills

• Proven skills for statistical data analysis and data driven decision making

• Great team player, communicator, and collaborator

• Ability to work solo, solve problems, and create new solutions to problems
