Job Description
Location options: Germany, UK, France or Spain
Do you want to apply your deep technical application expertise to develop and grow the B5G/6G opportunities, targeting the academia research? In this role, you would propose, develop and present solutions to address grant applications for funnel generation.
You will engage early with researchers to understand their goals, needs and problems, you will collaborate with customers and R&D to develop and implement customer’s solution in the area of wireless, optical communication & device characterization research/testbed needs for B5G/6G.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- As our ultimate domain expert in Beyond 5G and early 6G technology, you will engage deeply with researchers, Keysight business development managers and Solution Specialists worldwide on strategic engagements including in the field of OTA and device characterization in sub-THz range
- Represent the voice of the customer back into product and solution planning teams and provide timely feedback on new features and capabilities for emerging research applications
- Align and work together efficiently with the segment leads and business development team to grow the target market
- Develop new applications that can be addressed with our instrument and SW products.
- Develop and conduct technical training content for field Solution Engineers and Solution Specialists, Insight training for Account Managers, Webinars, and Symposium papers.
- Develop customer facing technical material such as video, white paper, application note, and demo tools.
- Integrate Keysight and other third-party products and services (at the solutions level) into customer’s environment.
- Be a key contributor of scientific and technical expertise with industry knowledge and be viewed internally and by customers as a technical and customer- oriented leader.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors or University Degree or equivalent
- Typically 8 to 10+ years relevant wireless ecosystem experience for entry to this level, together with knowledge in RF and microwave instruments and Scopes
- Post-graduate and/or certification /license is an advantage, such as PhD.
- In-depth subject matter expertise, acquired through advanced training, study or experience and internal recognition in your specialty.
- Knowledge of software programming like C++ or C# is a plus
- Fluent English (C1 level), local language is a plus but not mandatory
