Senior Software Developer

Perforce develops DevOps tools that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world’s leading companies, such as PIXAR, CD Projekt Red, NASA, Verizon, Honda, NVIDIA, and Johns Hopkins.

Position Summary:
Perforce is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to support development and maintenance of Methodics core software products. Methodics provides industry leading IP management software for the semiconductor market.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and support core product features and enhancements, including Command Line Interface; REST APIs
Contribute across multiple software components, including database modeling; middleware development and client applications
Join the team’s best practices in effective software engineering
Contribute to automated test development test framework
Develop strategies for scalability and performance optimization across different software components
Actively participate in the agile development process

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
5+ years experience in Software Engineering
Experience developing multiple types of software components, including backends, APIs and database layer
Extensive experience in Python programming language required
Experience with Java preferred
Experience with Go Language is a major plus
Excellent understanding of data structures and database types, including relational and graph databases
Excellent knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
Experience working in a CI / CD environment like Jenkins
Outstanding communication skills
