Overview
We are seeking an organised and engaging individual to join our Product Management team! The opportunity is ideal for junior product managers and aspiring product managers to gain experience, mentoring and tutorship to develop product ownership over time.
The primary responsibility of the Product Management Team as a Junior is to support the senior RF product manager and the wider Product Management team in increasing the profitability of existing products as well as in the development of new products. This role will spend time in the market to learn and understand the problems of market participants, whilst also conducting analysis to support product justifications such as Win/Loss, BCG, competitor, SWOT and technology benefit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SPM on key product developments and projects.
- Develop market/customer information gathering and combining it with information from the Market Intel team.
- Develop, adopt and advocate the product management process.
- Support the PM team on projects and initiatives.
- Support SPMs on developing product life cycle strategies.
- To ensure successful launch and commercialisation of products.
- To support business case justification.
- To enable a go-to-market for new products.
- To increase the profitability of products.
- To support and maintain product success and range management.
Qualifications & Training
- Degree or higher in a relevant subject.
- Experience in a similar commercial role (in the RFID/ Semiconductor industry is desirable).
- B2B Industry knowledge/ experience (Desirable)
Skills & Experience
- Good verbal, written and computer communication skills.
- Presentation abilities (in front of customers and the market/ key opinion leaders.
- Market engagement skills and the ability to gain insight into the customers’ needs and experiences.
- Collaboration skills.
- Self- motivated with a high attention to detail.
- Capable of balancing and meeting multiple project demands.
- Experience and training in sales and/or marketing/product management, working with external and internal partners (desirable).
- Experience with Excel, SharePoint, CRM systems, Teams and/or Jira (desirable).
- Ability to work autonomously (desirable).
