IT – Business Systems Analyst

Cadence has an opening for a Business Systems Analystposition. This person will work with business users from Finance, Sales and Customer Support to collect their analytics requirements with the intent of designing and developing optimal solutions for business analytics problems. Participate in testing, deployment and support solutions in production environment. \Knowledge of Tableau and other analytics systems is a must.

• Ability to interact with business managers to understand business requirements, document them and provide an optimal solution
• Perform data analysis of the different data system
• Build dashboards that support ongoing reporting and analysis of results
• Build data pipeline to prepare aggregated results for dashboards using SQL, Python
• Develop algorithms and statistical models, and perform statistical analysis to find out business insights.
• Use system reports and analyses to identify potentially problematic data, make corrections, and determine root cause for data problems from input errors or inadequate field edits, and suggest possible solutions
• Functional knowledge of common business processes like Sales, Finance, Customer support is desired
• Techno-functional knowledge of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is preferred
• Solid knowledge of querying and manipulating large datasets for analytics using SQL
• Strong ability to use data sets to solve business problems
• Experience and ability to collect and integrate multiple data sources
• Knowing the fundamentals of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Extremely good communication skills
• Knowing the fundamentals of statistics and AB testing
• 1-2 years of experience with enterprise data warehousing, writing SQL
• Experience coding in R or Python
• Experience creating data visualizations in Tableau or other modern visualization tools
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree in statistics, or mathematic is preferred (a degree in Finance or business is acceptable)
• Person should be able to work on site in San Jose, CA
