Website Agile Analog

As a Digital DFT Engineer, you will be developing our digital test capabilities as part of our increasingly complex range of mixed signal designs. You will have skills and experience in other relevant areas of the digital and mixed signal design flow, ideally in digital physical design, digital design or digital verification but other experience would also be valuable.

Working collaboratively with our other engineers and customers, you will be responsible for defining, designing and implementing our digital test strategy, ensuring that we use the right tools and techniques appropriate for the large range of process geometries our IP is designed on. This includes integrating digital and mixed signal production tests, ensuring our customers have the optimal test solutions to ensure our IP meets the highest quality and coverage standards.

Experience of the challenges of both digital and mixed signal chips, complex power domains, ultra-low power and higher performance digital design in mixed signal ICs would be very valuable in this role.

What you will be doing

  • Developing, implementing and delivering digital production test (DFT) in to digital and mixed signal IP and test chips across a broad range of process nodes from low geometry FinFET to more specialist higher geometry processes.
  • Using industry leading digital DFT and ATPG tools and methodologies to achieve high test coverage metrics across a range of process nodes, targetting different fault models.
  • Developing test infrastructure and design flows appropriate for digital and mixed signal designs, including built-in-self-test (BIST) with different vector types, appropriate for the target process nodes.
  • Working closely with our customers to understand their testing requirements and help drive our IP roadmap
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with other technical leaders and engineers internally and externally
  • Opportunities to lead teams and activities, appropriate to your skills and interests

Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Experience and a successful track record of digital production test design (DFT), implementing digital test from RTL through synthesis to signoff
  • Experience of generating, verifying and productionising ATPG vectors for digital designs
  • Solid understanding of the digital IC design flow, from RTL to GDSII.
  • Hands-on experience of developing digital and ideally mixed signal semiconductor IP
  • Experience of the major DFT and ATPG tools and methodologies in both low power and higher performance digital in mixed signal IC developments.
  • Experience of simulation and signoff (timing and power) of digital ATPG test vectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of scripting for automation (ideally python)

Even better if you have:

  • Experience of digital physical design, including synthesis, place and route, STA, IR drop, etc.
  • Experience working on advanced process nodes (7nm and below)
  • Experience of digital verification (including formal methods, UVM etc)
  • Experience of low power, mixed signal development with digital designs embedded within analog IP
  • Mixed signal, low power signoff methodologies, including UPF etc
  • Analog circuit design and layout experience
  • Standard cell or IP library characterisation experience
  • Programming experience: Matlab, Python, C, Linux
  • Software development skills and experience of automation (ideally python)

Benefits

What we offer in return:

As well as the opportunity to really play a pivotal part in our success, we offer:

  • A friendly, supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Flexible work hours to fit around your personal commitments
  • We consider individual requirements to work remotely with home set up assistance provided
  • Professional development and professional society membership
