Xi has given the semi-sector in China the highest priority and has picked a leader for the effort. With China's no holds barred commercial efforts in several areas and the resources they have, this could be the start of literally a commercial war in semis engulfing the world. TSM has fought the Chinese in courts several times and won, but this effort could take the conflict to new heights. The Chinese have had no problem using the economic might to gain a foothold in several areas where they have achieved if not world domination, become a very serious competitor and even dominating player. The ability to advance their manufacturing and construction fields is literally unmatched in human history. Could this competition actually benefit the semi sector by applying more resources to it? China is also implementing a new set of laws that could be a threat to any company or individual doing business there. Any thoughts of where this conflict could lead and possibly end up would be appreciated.

China Is Now Respecting the Rule of Law. Beware.
Americans have long asked China to follow its own laws. Unfortunately, Chinese Communist Party is doing just that.
