Ultra Low Power Speech Recognition Chip from MIT

Arthur Hanson

Well-known member
This new speech recognition chip from MIT consumes so little power, it has the ability to extend speech recognition to almost everything. The current chips are power hogs compared to this one. One thing the article doesn't state is how many languages it can be used on, since tone and cadence are part of some languages or they have other traits that might make this chips system not viable.

New chip could bring voice command to almost anything
