The tech sector has a huge advantage over the government sector, great people attract great people that aren't hemmed in by a government that is slow moving and resistant to change by excessive layers of bureaucracy that are only increasing. Our technology is feeding on itself and advancing and spreading its impact at an ever-accelerating rate. AI is about to change everything in ways we expect and don't expect. Properly handled AI has the ability to deal with the many challenges an dangers before us. In the next five years the changes brought by AI will be beyond what most can even imagine. I have more hope for the tech sector to be key to coming up with solutions than government.
